Job Description

PagerDuty seeks an Internal Communications Specialist to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will report under the People Team. You will collaborate, build, and execute company-wide communications initiatives and support our internal client groups in their communications. As a strategic and operational partner, you will support internal organizations such as our People team and PagerDuty.org team to create written and visual content, schedule critical moments on time, and promote engagement and participation in internal events. 

This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and reports to the Senior Internal Communications Manager.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter eager to help scale our Internal Communications programs, which seek to inform and engage our employees and amplify our culture, including our PagerDuty values. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute proactive communications around initiatives, programs, and events in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Support our monthly Company Town Hall - managing content and designing presentations. 

  • Have an eye and ear to the ground for your client groups and all PD departments to maximize the employee experience and ensure PD remains a place where all employees feel like they belong, are included, and are informed of important information.

  • Be an ambassador for PD’s culture, infusing PagerDuty’s mission, employer brand, and cultural values into everything we do
